In the Premier Division, Tom Slade wished Merry Xmas Everybody to his Wollaton teammates by netting four times in their 8-0 win at Eastwood CFC Development. Josh Stevenson notched twice, Scott Carlile and Matt Eastwood once in the rout.
FC Cavaliers took the lead through Zibusiso Sibanda at home to Cotgrave but Dougie Mills equalised with a close range volley before a late Lucus Cotterill strike sealed the points for the visitors. In Division One, leaders AFC Top Valley failed to win in the league for the first time this season. Joe Gunn pulled Top Valley level twice away at Robin Hood Colts, the second time in the last minute to take a point in a 2-2 draw. George Camps and William Cox scored for the Colts. It was honours even in the other game in the division as well with two goals in as many second half minutes meant it finished 1-1 between Southwell City Reserves and Beeston. Billy Abbott put Beeston ahead on 67 minutes but Blair Bryant levelled matters soon after. It was first versus second in the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, Premier Division with current leaders Bingham Town resounding victors over AFC Dunkirk 4-0 with two goals apiece for Tom Spencer and Euan Sweeting.
Dunkirk's defeat allowed Southwell City to move into second place as a Ben Selby hat-trick helped them on their way to a 5-0 win over Attenborough. William Stocks and George Caudwell were also on target. Woodthorpe Park Rangers are up to third on goal difference,ahead of Dunkirk, following their 3-0 defeat of FC Cavaliers with goals from Markell Bailey, Cory Johnson and Connor Scott-Parkin. Burton Joyce complete the top five. They were 6-1 winners at home to Magdala Amateurs. Josh Gardner scored his first goal for The Joyce alongside efforts from Mark Faflik (2), Nathan Francis, Dan Phillips and Macauley Tinsley. Ryan MacMillan got Magdala's consolation. There were promising signs for the new management at Eastwood CFC Development but they ultimately went down 5-2 to Calverton Miners Welfare. There were braces for Dalton Stephens and Sam Buckle and one for Steven Brett for Calvo; Mitch Williams and Isaac Anderson replied for Eastwood. Scott Litchfield scored four and Lee Potts two for Keyworth United as they saw off Aslockton & Orston 6-0. AFC Top Valley made it 11 wins from 11 to stay top of Division One as Jake and Joe Gunn unloaded both barrels on Wollaton Reserves with two goals each in a 6-0 win. Luke Gregory and Adam Sprake also netted. Ethan Hunter bagged a last minute winner to give West Bridgford AFC bragging rights over local rivals Bridgford United with a 2-1 victory. Ollie Williams also scored for AFC, Liam Honeyman for United. Ruddington Village once again overcame Ravenshead in their fourth meeting in 11 weeks in all competitions. This time it was Jack Dickie, Jamie Neep and Daniel Neary who helped them triumph 3-0. In Division Two, Brandon Lee scored a hat-trick for Barrowby on Friday night to help his side beat Ravenshead Reds 5-2. On Saturday, United Grays consolidated top spot with a 7-0 win over Burton Joyce Reserves including braces for Perris Thomas and Sean Craven. Both Keyworth United Reserves and Ruddington Village Reserves are five points behind the Grays after they won 8-2 against Bilborough Town Community and 4-3 against Beeston Old Boys Association respectively. Asha won 4-1 at Cotgrave Reserves and Stapleford Town Reserves beat Clifton All Whites Development 6-1. AFC Dunkirk are up to second in the Premier Division of the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, as they came from behind to beat Sandiacre Town 2-1 with two stoppage time goals. Keaton Matharu gave Town the lead in the first half but Kain Bell equalised in the 92nd minute and McKenna Parton completed the turnaround a minute later.

Kyle Waddell grabbed a hat-trick of headers for Cotgrave in the opening ten minutes of their match with Keyworth United. Scott Litchfield pulled one back but that was the end of the scoring. Rowan Smith got the consolation for Kimberley who slip to the bottom of the table following the loss. A Daniel Neary brace saw Ruddington Village win 2-1 at Ravenshead for the second time in succession, following their Notts FA Senior Trophy triumph last weekend. Lewis Parkin replied for the Reds. Joshua Nwokoro scored four and Bright Agana three for Beeston as they saw off Radford Reserves 7-3 while Steven Cox grabbed a hat-trick for Gedling Southbank as they edged past Kirton Brickworks 6-5. Radcliffe Olympic and Wollaton Reserves drew 1-1. Joe Hornigold scored twice for Elston United in their 3-1 win at Burton Joyce Reserves and Pythian and Ravenshead Reds drew 2-2. Stapleford Town Reserves saw off Clifton All Whites Development 7-2 while, in the Derbyshire FA Junior Cup, Jay Cooper grabbed a hat-trick for Asha as they knocked out Sleetmoor United 4-2. Lukas Balaz grabbed a hat-trick and Liam Honeyman two goals for Bridgford United in the 7-2 win over Southwell City Reserves. Kyle Pemberton and Jourdan Blair were also on target for United, Ben Napier and Louis Annable for City. Gedling Southbank and Kirton Brickworks drew 2-2. In Division Two, a Robert England hat-trick set leaders United Grays on their way to a 5-0 win at Pythian. Keyworth United Reserves are keeping pace in second, however, after they beat Burton Joyce Reserves 10-0, including four goals for Conor Pauley and two apiece for Samuel Lund and Matt Webster. Dave Cyrek scored a last minute penalty to give Cotgrave Reserves all three points in a seven goal thriller against Bingham Town Reserves. Clifton All Whites Development beat Bilborough Town Community 3-2 and Elston United and Asha drew 1-1. Woodthorpe Park Rangers are making strides towards the top three after beating Eastwood CFC Development 8-0. The defeat leaves Eastwood bottom as FC Cavaliers picked up a point in a 2-2 draw with Sandiacre Town. In a pulsating encounter at Platt Lane, Keyworth United eventually prevailed 5-4 over Stapleford Town. United were ahead after only three minutes when Luke Guadagni deflected a cross into his own net. Junior Rodriguez drew Town level soon after but Callum Wolloch restored the home side’s advantage midway through the first half. An Adam Hassell double, the second from the penalty spot just before the break, then put The Saxons ahead however United equalised near the hour mark thanks to Scott Litchfield. Rodriguez’s second of the match put Stapleford back in the ascendency but Kasey Fisher and Litchfield’s second meant it was Keyworth that took the points. In the Notts FA Senior Trophy West Bridgford AFC gained revenge for a league defeat at Hucknall Town Development earlier in the month with a 3-1 win. Keyworth United Reserves caused an upset by seeing off higher ranked Radford Reserves 7-4. A Cole Hinchcliffe brace helped Ravenshead on their way to knocking out Wollaton Reserves 4-0. Mark Yates and Lewis Parkin were also on target. Cotgrave Reserves, of Division Two, caused an upset by dispatching Division One side Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves 4-3. A long range Chris Jackson strike put Cotgrave one up then the lead was doubled when David Cyrek headed home from a corner. Kimberley got themselves back on level terms thanks to Ewan Hill and Ethan Lamb but it wasn’t for long, as Cyrek got his second soon after before going on to complete his hat-trick. Ben Upton pulled one back in the 90th minute but Cotgrave held on to make it into the next round. There was no such upset for Burton Joyce Reserves, however, as the higher ranked Radford Reserves won 2-1. Obinna Abuka and Joel Bayliss did the damage for Radford with Alfie Harper replying for BJ. Asha were big winners in the Derbyshire FA Junior Cup, 10-1 against South Normanton United, including six goals for Jay Cooper, three for Daniel Evans and one for Joshua Andrews. In Division Two, Brandon Lee bagged a brace for Barrowby in their 6-1 win over Ravenshead Reds, who finished the game with only nine men. Tyler Haynes, Luke Abel, John Revell and Makhale Mahlasti also scored for Barrowby; Luke Williams with the Reds’ consolation. United Grays beat Bingham Town Reserves 3-1 with goals from David Gray, Tyrone Gray and John Manders. |
