Only five games survived the weather in the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company. In the Premier Division, Tom Slade wished Merry Xmas Everybody to his Wollaton teammates by netting four times in their 8-0 win at Eastwood CFC Development. Josh Stevenson notched twice, Scott Carlile and Matt Eastwood once in the rout.
FC Cavaliers took the lead through Zibusiso Sibanda at home to Cotgrave but Dougie Mills equalised with a close range volley before a late Lucus Cotterill strike sealed the points for the visitors. In Division One, leaders AFC Top Valley failed to win in the league for the first time this season. Joe Gunn pulled Top Valley level twice away at Robin Hood Colts, the second time in the last minute to take a point in a 2-2 draw. George Camps and William Cox scored for the Colts. It was honours even in the other game in the division as well with two goals in as many second half minutes meant it finished 1-1 between Southwell City Reserves and Beeston. Billy Abbott put Beeston ahead on 67 minutes but Blair Bryant levelled matters soon after. In Division Two, a solitary Samuel Kaye effort was enough to see Stapleford Town Reserves past leaders United Grays 1-0. Comments are closed.
