In the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, Southwell City’s lead in the Premier Division is up to seven point after they came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw against Cotgrave. Harvey Grice had put the visitors ahead in the first half but on 77 minutes Ewan Hill slotted home a rebound from a Calum Law shot to salvage a point for Southwell.
Stapleford Town are up to second following a 3-0 win at Bilborough Town. Mitchell Robinson headed his side into the lead in the 21st minute with Ben Smedley doubling the advantage six minutes later. Bilborough keeper Liam Lee brought down Adam Hassall in the area with just over a quarter of an hour remaining. Hassall picked himself up to convert the resultant penalty and round out the scoring. Scott Litchfield and Cameron Gray scored one in each half to give Keyworth United a 2-0 win at Eastwood CFC Development. Aslockton & Orston came from two down to rescue a point in the local derby at Bingham Town. Mike Carpenter and Ed Hodgson put the home side in the ascendency but, despite being reduced to ten men following Freddie Daws’ second yellow card, Pierce Hallam and, deep into stoppage time, Julian Joachim meant the point were shared. There were hat-tricks for both Kamar Davis and David Kolapo in FC Cavaliers’ 8-1 win over Radcliffe Olympic. Abdou Cole and Ochi Fraser were also on target for Cavs, Stuart Fielding with Olympic’s consolation. Joshua Stevenson put Wollaton ahead at home to Attenborough but the visitors struck back through Jak Kenworthy, Ryan Martin and Liam McCormack to claim a 3-1 win, while Sandiacre Town saw off Gedling Southbank 7-1. In Division One, leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers will head into Christmas unbeaten after they won 6-0 against Selston Reserves, including a hat-trick for Markell Bailey and two for Conor Carter. Nathan Francis netted four for Burton Joyce in their 5-1 win over ten man Bestwood Miners Welfare while Joshua Broad grabbed a hat-trick and Adam Martin two for Ravenshead as they overcame Ruddington Village 7-3. Basford United Community swept Wollaton Reserves aside 14-0, including hat-tricks for Alex Goodall and Kole Lambert and braces for Dominic Baker and Shick Ndong. Rachidou Akpo was on target twice for Radford Reserves in their 5-1 win over Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves and AFC Bridgford won 2-1 at Kirton Brickworks. In Division Two, the top two, Ruddington Village Reserves and AFC Top Valley, were both 3-0 winners, against Bingham Town Reserves and Stapleford Town Reserves respectively. AFC Clifton move into third, at Stapleford’s expense, after they won 3-1 at Elston United. Robin Hood Colts had Daniel Tyson sent off after only eight minutes but went on to win 4-2 against Clifton All Whites Development. Keyworth United Development beat Sneinton Town 5-1.
