In the Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division, after picking up their first point last weekend, Bilborough Town are looking to build on it as they head to Hollinwood Lane to take on Calverton Miners Welfare on Friday night. Town are hopeful of including a couple of new faces; Calvo are still looking to get off the mark.
Another team looking for their first point are Gedling Southbank, they welcome mid-table Keyworth United to Eagle Valley on Friday evening. Rounding out the Friday night games are Eastwood CFC Development nd Cotgrave, who meet at the Play Soccer USA 3G Arena. On Saturday, league leaders Awsworth Villa, and their 100% record, travel to the Forest Recreation Ground to play FC Cavaliers, who only tasted defeat for the first time themselves last week. Aslockton & Orston, Cavs’ conquerors last time out, host AFC Dunkirk at Spa Lane while the still unbeaten Bingham Town welcome Sandiacre Town to Butt Field. Magdala Amateurs and Attenborough meet at Roko. In Division One, Ravenshead have Dan Phillips available for his first appearance of the season and Ryan Towle, their recent signing from Hucknall Town, is also in contention for a start. Mark Smallwood remains injured, however, as Radford Reserves visit Cornwater. Leader Woodthorpe Park Rangers are without a game so Basford United Community will see if they can nab top spot as they head to Bestwood Miners Welfare. It is also possible for Bridgford United to edge into first but they would have to win big against Wollaton Reserves at Hollinwood Lane. Ditto Kirton Brickworks as they welcome Beeston to Station Road. Selston Reserves will attempt to get their first points on the board at the third time of asking as they entertain AFC Bridgford at the Parish Hall Ground and Southwell City Reserves host Mansfield Hosiery Mills at the War Memorial Ground. In Division Two, leaders Stapleford Town Reserves travel to Woodview to face Cotgrave. Something’s got to give as the two teams with 100% records, Newark Flowserve Reserves and AFC Clifton, in second and third respectively, meet at Gresham Sports Park. Comments are closed.
