In the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, Southwell City have a chance to reclaim second place in the Premier Division, albeit possibly for less than 24 hours, as they entertain FC Cavaliers on Friday night at the War Memorial Ground.

Awsworth Villa, who leapfrogged Southwell into second by beating them 3-0 last time out, head to Eagle Valley to play bottom club Gedling Southbank. Bingham Town will be looking to break into the top four, having lost only once in their last 18 outings, as they visit the Ron Steel Sports Ground to take on AFC Dunkirk. Sandwiched between Bingham and Dunkirk in the table are Keyworth United, who face Wollaton at the WSA. Aslockton & Orston entertain Bilborough Town at Spa Lane, Sandiacre Town host Magdala Amateurs at St Giles. Calverton Miners Welfare bring Lewis Wheelhouse and Jack Harrison back into the squad that lost to Radcliffe for the visit of Attenborough to Hollinwood Lane. In Division One, Mansfield Hosiery Mills welcome leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers to The Fieldings. Ravenshead host Kirton Brickworks at Cornwater and have skipper Josh Broad available again after he missed last Friday’s victory due to being stranded at Glasgow Airport due to a cancelled flight. Alex Faulconbridge serves the final game of a three match ban. Bridgford United travel to The Shilo to play Awsworth Villa Reserves with Santos Farrell returning but still faced with other key injuries and suspensions. They will be aiming to keep up the pressure on the top three with having up to six games in hand on the teams above. In Division Two, AFC Top Valley will look to increase their lead over Ruddington Village Reserves at the top of the table as they travel to Roko to play Magdala Amateurs. Ruddington are in NSL Junior Cup quarter-final action at Gresham Sports Park against AFC Clifton. Also hoping to join Robin Hood Colts and Cotgrave Reserves in the semi-finals are Stapleford Town Reserves and Keyworth United Development, who meet at Hickings Lane. Comments are closed.
