In the Precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division the weekend’s action gets underway on Friday night as fourth placed Basford United Community host fifth placed Wollaton at Greenwich Avenue.
On Saturday, leaders Bilborough Town will be without Tommy Street and Ricky Cross due to work commitments as they welcome AFC Dunkirk to the Harvey Hadden Stadium. Dale Kane is set to return, however, and they hope to have a new signing in time for the game. Awsworth Villa, unbeaten in six matches, entertain Aston United at The Shilo while Clifton All Whites go for 11 wins on the trot as they travel to the Inspire Stadium to face Real United. Cotgrave, who have experienced alternating wins and losses since mid-November, visit Roko to play Magdala Amateurs. Their previous meeting finished 1-1. Newark Flowserve, having brought in Craig Roche and Steven Venables as joint managers, following the departure of their predecessor to Greenwood Meadows of the East Midlands Counties League, managed a draw in their first game. This week they hope to go one better as they travel to The Strand to face Attenborough. Ruddington Village and Bingham Town, both on 21 points but with the latter having played four more games, meet at Elms Park. Sandiacre Town welcome Nottingham Trent University to St Giles and FC Cavaliers entertain Underwood Villa at the Forest Recreation Ground. In Division One, leaders Calverton Miners Welfare bring George Scrivener into the squad that beat Kirton Brickworks last time out as they travel to the Stag Ground to face Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves. In Division Two, Ravenshead welcome back Dan Phillips after a three game ban and also hope to have Tom Goodson, Jordan Grady and Chris Bovey available for the trip to play Bingham Town Reserves at Butt Field.
