In the Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division, leaders Newark Flowserve will attempt to preserve their 100% record as they travel to Hollinwood Lane to face Calverton Miners Welfare. The hosts make a number of changes to the squad that lost out to AFC Dunkirk in midweek, including the return of last season’s top two scorers, Sam Buckle and Dane Bennett.
Cotgrave are the division’s only other unbeaten side; they welcome Attenborough to Woodview. Boro’s five matches so far have included seven goals on average, unfortunately they have only outscored their opponents once. By contrast, Cotgrave drew 0-0 last time out. Bilborough Town, on a four game winning streak, welcome back Conner Croft, Chris Rhodes and Ian Jackson to give them a full squad bar Jake Kane as Underwood Villa are the visitors to the Harvey Hadden Stadium. Basford United Community have Danny Brown, Diaz Cameron and Raequon Noon-Brandy back in the squad following their absences last week, but will be missing Sam Winch and Joe Harrison through injury, as they host Southwell City at Greenwich Avenue. Sandiacre Town take their three game winning run to the Forest Recreation Ground to face FC Cavaliers, who had a series of three wins on the trot themselves until they lost to Magdala Amateurs in midweek. That was Magdala’s first win of the season. They will try and build on that as they host Gedling Southbank at Roko. Gedling are looking for their first points of the season but have only had two outings so far. Awsworth Villa entertain Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC, who are under the caretaker stewardship of Andy Miller and Danny Staley, at The Shilo. After opening with a win and a draw Ruddington Village have since suffered a run of four defeats. They will hope for an upturn in fortunes as they travel to the WSA to play Wollaton. Bingham Town will be looking forward to being back home at Butt Field after a three game losing spell on the road. AFC Dunkirk are the visitors. In Division One, Ravenshead have found life difficult in their first three games since their promotion. They will attempt to register their first point as Beeston Rylands visit Cornwater. They will have to do so without Ryan Faulconbridge, however, and there are also late fitness tests for Chris Bovey and Steve Radzynski Comments are closed.
