Action in the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, gets underway on Friday night with the Premier Division encounters between Stapleford Town and AFC Dunkirk at the Ron Steel Sports Ground and Keyworth United versus Cotgrave at Platt Lane. It’s also floodlight Friday at the MJ Robinson Structures Arena as Asha entertain Pythian in Division Two.
On Saturday in the Premier Division, leaders Burton Joyce will be shooting for six wins from six as Aslockton & Orston visit the Poplars. Also looking to maintain their 100% record are Woodthorpe Park Rangers, who welcome Magdala Amateurs to Greenwich Avenue. Wollaton are also yet to be beaten, a run they will wish to continue as they head to the Memorial Ground to take on Southwell City while Awsworth Villa go in pursuit of their first point of the season as they host Bingham Town at the Shilo. Also looking to get off the mark are Bilborough Town as they travel to the Pro:Direct Arena to face Eastwood CFC Development. James Davis and Andrew Smith are amongst the additions to the Calverton Miners Welfare squad from their draw with Magdala last time out as they entertain Sandiacre Town at Hollinwood Lane. New signings Morgan Bell and Cameron Smith go straight into the Attenborough squad for their trip to the Forest Sports Zone to play FC Cavaliers. In Division One, Ravenshead travel north to face Kirton Brickworks with Jacob Woods back and in contention to start. Jamie Vaughan pushes for a first appearance of the season, the Reds could also give two debuts if they can complete a planned second new signing. Midweek results saw Radford Reserves move into top spot, they head to Eagle Valley to play the division’s only team with a 100% record, AFC Top Valley. Ruddington Village make the trip to Leyton Crescent to take on Beeston. Gedling Southbank were unfortunate not to take anything from their clash with Southwell City Reserves in midweek. They will be hoping for better fortune as they welcome Bridgford United to Eagle Valley.
