In the Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division, leaders Newark Flowserve will attempt to preserve their 100% record as they welcome Underwood Villa to Hawton Lane. The visitors will be without the suspended Adam Bibby following his sending off in his side’s loss at Calverton Miners Welfare last week.
Second-placed Awsworth Villa gave Newark a scare in the first half last week before eventually going down 2-0. They will look to bounce back as they head to Harvey Hadden Stadium to play Bilborough Town. Wollaton are back in action at the WSA, following a couple of postponements, with AFC Dunkirk the visitors. The home side will be without the suspended Ryan Tinsley. Oliver Clarke comes into the Calverton squad, looking to make his fourth appearance of the season, as his side head to Roko to face Magdala Amateurs. Also added to the squad are Dane Bennett and Jason Hodson, with Harry Simpson and Liam Deane missing out. After shipping seven in defeat to Awsworth at the end of November FC Cavaliers have only conceded one goal in their four league games since, remaining unbeaten during that time. Bingham Town will be trying to breach that miserly defence as they make the trip to The Forest. Southwell City have lost by only the odd goal in each of their last three outings. They will attempt to get back to winning ways as they visit The Strand to take on bottom club Attenborough. Cotgrave’s Woodview home hasn’t been a happy hunting ground of late as they haven’t won there since mid-November. They will look to make amends with Gedling Southbank the visitors. Basford United Community host Sandiacre Town at Greenwich Avenue. After a convincing defeat of Cotgrave last week, that ended a five match winless run in the league for Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC, they welcome Ruddington Village, one point and one place above them in the table, to The Stag Ground on Friday night. In Division One, leaders Netherfield Albion, having won their last two without conceding, will try and take that form into their match with Selston Reserves at Hollinwood Lane. Ravenshead travel to Elms Park to play Ruddington Village Reserves without George Hadfield through work commitments, but Mark Smallwood is nearing a return and there could also be a place for the returning Tom Hubbard and a debut for Dan Fisher. Division Two leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers are at home at Eagle Valley against Underwood Villa Reserves while Bridgford United have Ash Barrett and Mario Lopez back in the side as Gedling Southbank Reserves visit Lenton Lane.
