The Precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division title could be decided this weekend. Ruddington Village currently head the table by one point from Wollaton. Ruddington have two games to play whereas Wollaton only have one remaining. If Ruddington win on Saturday, the title is theirs, any other result and it all comes down to Wednesday night’s match between the two sides.
Bilborough Town are Ruddington’s opponents on Saturday at Greenwich Avenue. Town are without Lyam Webster, Carl Woodward and Dale Kane but hope to welcome back up to six players who missed last week’s draw with Newark Flowserve. Keyworth United Reserves currently sit atop the table but they have already finished their league programme and therefore will be watching results elsewhere. Bilsthorpe Reserves are away at Aspley Park Reserves, if they win they take the title but any other result opens the door for Awsworth Villa Reserves who are at home to Selston Reserves and can reach the summit with a win. Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Burton Joyce will be playing their last ever game as the team is disbanding after this season. Attenborough are the visitors to The Poplars, they add Chris McGeown to the squad that defeated Awsworth in the groundhop game last weekend.
