In the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, Premier Division leaders Bingham Town had their 12 game winning run in all competitions ended by Wollaton following a 1-1 draw. A Tom Spencer free kick put Town ahead but Steve Ahern equalised late on.
Southwell City were briefly in second place after four goals for Bradley Peace-McDonald helped them on their way to a 6-1 win over Bilborough Town on Friday night. Calum Law and Ant Brown also netted for City; Gary Grant with Bilborough's consolation. After losing their unbeaten record last week AFC Dunkirk bounced back in style with a 7-0 demolition of FC Cavaliers, including braces for Danny Blanchard and Zack Jackson, that took them back up to second. George Harrison, McKenna Parton and Luis Parkes completed the scoring. Burton Joyce won the battle between the two promoted sides as a late Ryan Marsh header from a Ricky Gardner free kick saw them edge past Woodthorpe Park Rangers 1-0. Lucus Cotterill has now scored 11 goals in five appearances for Cotgrave since stepping up from their reserves as he struck four in his side's 5-2 win at Calverton Miners Welfare. Gethyn Tustin also notched; Andrew Smith and Alistair West replied for Calvo. Awsworth Villa were the day's biggest winners as they saw off Magdala Amateurs 10-0. Ben Branston (3), Ryan Krause (2), Kyllion Rickets, Greg Ellis, Liam Towle, James Duffy and Danny Towle were all on target. Only one Division One match survived the weather as West Bridgford AFC missed the chance to move level on points with AFC Top Valley at the head of the table when they went down 3-2 to Hucknall Town Development. Aaron Roberts, Harrison Scott and Macauley Spencer scored for Hucknall, Ethan Hunter and Sam Gaskin for Bridgford. Bright Agana struck a hat-trick for Beeston in their 7-2 win over Ravenshead Reds in the Nottinghamshire FA Senior Trophy. In Division Two their was a hat-trick for Junior Rodriguez in his Stapleford Town Reserves side's 4-0 win at Keyworth United Reserves and Josh Wilson was on target three times and Tyrone Gray twice for United Grays as they saw off Cotgrave Reserves 10-1.
