Southwell City and Bingham Town remain locked together at the top of the Premier Division of the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, after they won 2-0 at Magdala Amateurs and 4-2 at Stapleford Town respectively. A Calum Law double did the damage for Southwell whereas Bingham had to come from behind with goals from Tom Spencer, Jay Archer, Ed Hodgson and Euan Sweeting to claim the points. Junior Rodriguez and James Hale netted for The Saxons.
A late long range George Harrison free kick was enough to see AFC Dunkirk past Awsworth Villa 1-0 while Burton Joyce won by a similar scoreline at Sandiacre Town thanks to Macauley Tinsley. Greg Newbold notched just before the break and Scott Carlile in the second period for Wollaton to give them a 2-0 win over Aslockton & Orston to continue their run of form that has seen them lose only once in their last 11 outings. Lee Potts grabbed a hat-trick for Keyworth United as they saw off Calverton Miners Welfare 4-0, who had Corey Ashley sent off. Scott Litchfield was also on target. Cotgrave beat Bilborough Town 2-0 with goals from Kyle Waddell and Lucus Cotterill while Attenborough’s new management team continued their 100% start by edging out Eastwood CFC Development 1-0 thanks to substitute Adam Kemp. Leaders AFC Top Valley stay unbeaten in Division One as a Jake Gunn hat-trick plus one from Joe Gunn saw them past Bridgford United 4-1. A Will Rainford brace helped Ruddington Village on their way to 4-0 win over West Bridgford AFC. Ben Knight also bagged a brace for Beeston as they moved into third with a 4-2 victory against Robin Hood Colts while Martin McDonagh scored two for Ravenshead as they shared the points with Gedling Southbank in a 3-3 draw. Also scoring two were Brett Soiza for Radcliffe Olympic, in their 4-1 win at Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves, and Rich Willatt for Kirton Brickworks, as they saw off Radford Reserves 3-2. Southwell City Reserves beat Hucknall Town Reserves 2-0. In Division Two, Ruddington Village Reserves suffered their first defeat of the season as a Jay Copper double for Asha saw them to a 2-1 win. That allowed United Grays to extend their lead to six points with a 5-0 win at Burton Joyce Reserves, including a Tyrone Gray brace. Stapleford Town Reserves missed the chance to take second place as they went down 4-1 to AFC Dunkirk Reserves while Thomas Siswick scored three and Matt Webster two for Keyworth United Reserves as they came away from Ravenshead Reds with a 7-2 win. Pythian also notched seven, seeing off Cotgrave Reserves 7-1, including two goals for both Jack Storrie and Michael Lindsay. Ryan Mills scored four for Clifton All Whites Development but it wasn’t enough to claim all three points as they ultimately drew 6-6 with Barrowby.
