In the Precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division leaders Bilborough Town edged past Wollaton 2-1. Matt Hayes put Town ahead in the first half before Jake Fisher equalised from the spot just before the break. Tommy Street restored Bilborough’s lead midway through the second half and they held on for the win.
Real United took an early lead at home to second-placed Awsworth Villa but Ryan Whitehurst ensured a share of the spoils for the visitors. Clifton All Whites mived up to third as they overpowered Underwood Villa 6-0. The goals were shared between Corbi Brown, Alex Haughton, Ben Richardson, Nicky Kennerdale, Niall O'Rafferty and Craig Meakin. Aston United were three to the good by half time at home to Bingham Town thanks to Chris Beighton, Kyle Crofts and Shay Wiggins. Mike Jepps pulled one back for the visitors but it was too little too late. Ruddington Village picked up their first win since the end of November as they saw off Cotgrave 3-0. David Rimington, Kieron Lane and Danny Johnson did the damage for Village. Magdala Amateus had an Audie Miller own goal to thank for their 1-0 victory against Unity. FC Cavaliers moved off the bottom of the table with a 2-1 win over Sandiacre Town. In Division One, leaders Calverton Miners Welfare were toppled 3-0 at home by Wollaton Reserves. Ant Fragola, Francesco Labbate and Mark Middleton were the Wollo scorers. Kirton Brickworks made it six wins in a row as they defeated AFC Bridgford 3-2. Mitchell Hall (2) and Kyle Clarkson were on target for The Brickies, Jake Henson with both for Bridgford. Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves won by a similar scoreline at Ashland Rovers. Matt Clowes (2) and Alex Shipley netted for Kimberley, Jack Coupe and Paul Revuelta for Rovers. In Division Two, Selston Reserves moved up to second with a 7-0 win at Radcliffe Olympic Reserves, including a hat-trick for Brad Clarke. Aslockton Cranmers won 4-1 at Underwood Villa Reserves and Bilsthorpe Reserves edged past Bingham Town Reserves 3-2. The winner of the Nottinghamshire FA Junior Cup will definitely come from the NSL after all four quarter-final ties were won by the league’s teams – Bilborough United, Awsworth Villa Reserves, Mansfield Hosiery Mills and Southwell City Reserves. In the Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup AFC Dunkirk and Nottingham Trent University saw off Newark Flowserve and Gedling Soutbank respectively.
