In the Precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division, leaders Clifton All Whites weren’t in action but Awsworth Villa and Bilborough Town, in second and third respectively, faced each other as they attempted to make up ground. Ricky Cross put Town ahead but a Matt Hayes own goal and Ryan Whitehurst saw Awsworth go in at the break 2-1 up. Hayes made amends in the second half, however, as he netted at the correct end to ensure the spoils were shared.
It looked like Valentino Chibbaro’s goal had sealed all three points for Basford United Community at AFC Dunkirk however Kamran Frost struck in the 90th minute for the home side to make it a point apiece. Jourdan Blair hit a hat-trick for Real United in their 5-1 win over bottom club Unity. Jawanza Grant and Ben Douglas were also on target. Rickey Jouhal got Unity’s consolation. Joel Isaac scored both for Aston United as they beat Attenborough 2-1. Jed Mrvik replied for Boro before he was sent off for two yellow cards. Toby Stevenson and Phil Leggit gave Bingham Town a 2-0 win at Sandiacre Town while it was stalemate between FC Cavaliers and Magdala Amateurs. Ruddington Village won 3-0 at Nottingham Trent University. In Division One, champions Calverton Miners Welfare edged out Wollaton Reserves 2-1 thanks to a long range Sam Buckle effort and a Brinsley Kirkham penalty. Substitute Matthew Sumpner netted for Wollaton. Kimberley Miners Welfare secured a second place finish with a 3-2 win at Netherfield Albion. Matt Clowes and Josh Lewis did the damage for Kimberley. Oz Kosar and Martin McDonagh were on target for Albion, who missed a chance to snatch a point late on. Ashland Rovers are up to third following a 2-2 draw with Kirton Brickworks. Andrew Glossop and Ryan Martin scored for Rovers, Kyle Clarkson and Mitchell Hall for The Brickies. Ruddington Village Reserves and Southwell City Reserves also drew 2-2. Sam Dunstan and Darren Turner notched for Rudd, Calum Law and Jamie Sims for Southwell. A Kurt Savage penalty was enough for Awsworth Villa Reserves to pick up the win against AFC Bridgford. Birchover Park and Bilborough United drew 1-1. Korrey McLaren was on target for Birchover, John Greaves for United. In Division Two, champions Team DNF suffered only their second defeat of the season as they went down 3-2 to Underwood Villa Reserves. Ravenshead came from two down to secure a 2-2 draw at home to Aslockton Cranmers. Comments are closed.
