In the Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division, Newark Flowserve saw off Underwood Villa 4-1. An acrobatic finish from Tyler Martin opened the scoring before Daryl Price doubled the lead. Jamie Hudson halved the arrears before Price added his second and Will Nelson sealed the three points.
A first half David Kolapo strike was enough for second placed FC Cavaliers to edge past AFC Dunkirk 1-0 while Awsworth Villa, in third, won 3-0 at bottom club Ruddington Village with goals from John Whitehurst, Ben Watson and Matthew Murphy. Bilborough Town nearly hung on for only their second point since the start of November but Bingham Town’s Tom McRobie dashed those hopes in second half stoppage time. Steven Brett, Mathew Newton and Barry Payne helped Calverton Miners Welfare to a 3-1 win over Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC. Adam Hassell with Kimberley’s reply. Southwell City came from two down at Wollaton to win 3-2 in the last minute. Daniel Chadwick and Reece Campbell had put the hosts ahead before Calum Law made it 2-1 at the interval. Law added his and Southwell’s second just after the restart. There were saves at either end and Southwell hit the crossbar before Romello Nangle took the points after being fed in by Sam Robinson. Cotgrave came from behind to win 5-1 at Magdala Amateurs, who had Dan Harris sent off. Tom Haw put The Budgies ahead but a Bassey Okon hat-trick, Adam Gray and Shaun Jackson gave the visitors the win. A solitary Stephen Bonel effort saw Sandiacre Town past Basford United Community 1-0 and Attenborough followed up their midweek Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup win with a 3-1 win over Gedling Southbank. Jak Kenworthy, Adam Martin and Ryan Martin were all on target for Boro, Reiss Coy for Gedling. In Division One, it was honours even between the top two as second-placed Stapleford Town drew 1-1 with leaders Keyworth United Reserves. Netherfield Albion took a two goal lead away at Beeston Rylands but after the hosts got on the scoresheet there was then never more than one goal between the sides as they traded blows in a match that finished 5-5. Jason Stonley grabbed a hat-trick for Beeston, Brent Horton a brace for Albion. Ryan Martin also bagged a brace, for Ashland Rovers in their 4-1 win at Ruddington Village Reserves while Southwell City Reserves and Mansfield Hosiery Mills drew 1-1. Bottom club AFC Bridgford recorded their third win of the season, 2-1 at the team immediately above them in the table, Awsworth Villa Reserves. Wollaton Reserves edged past Ravenshead 3-2. In Division Two, leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers saw off Kirton Brickworks Reserves 5-1 with a hat-trick from Markell Bailey and two from Adam Forry. Cameron Marsh scored five and Jack Hopper three in Burton Joyce’s 9-0 defeat of Nottingham City. John Denty grabbed a hat-trick for Keyworth United Development as they overcame Bingham Town Reserves 4-0.
