Eight Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, fixtures survived the onslaught of Storm Dennis. In the Premier Division, AFC Dunkirk moved up to third with a 3-1 win at Calverton Miners Welfare, thanks to goals from Luis Parkes, Jacob Consterdine and Omojiseoluwa Bankole. Substitute Dalton Stephens replied for Calvo.
Sandiacre Town and Woodthorpe Park Rangers drew a blank while Eastwood CFC Development recorded their first point since the end of October in a 1-1 draw with FC Cavaliers. Isaac Anderson notched for Eastwood with Max McLeod on target for Cavs. In Division One, Radcliffe Olympic moved up to fifth, three points behind their opponents Beeston but with three games in hand, following a 2-1 win. Nick Levack and Joe Hegarty put Olympic two to the good, Roland Tomlinson halved the arrears for Beeston but it was ultimately too little, too late. Robin Hood Colts came from two down against Kirton Brickworks to salvage a draw. Jamie Charlton and Ryan Ashley gave The Brickies the lead but a Jake Smith double, the second from the penalty spot, ensured the points were shared. Bridgford United got the better of Wollaton Reserves 7-3. In Division Two, Elston United came from behind to beat Stapleford Town Reserves 3-2. Jake Shepherd put The Saxons ahead but Ethan Jones equalised before a Kieran Adams brace gave Elston an unassailable lead, despite James Aspinall’s late strike. Cotgrave Reserves avenged last week’s 7-1 drubbing at the hands of Pythian by beating them 1-0 away this week. 18 year-old Harry Trenham came off the bench to grab the winner. Comments are closed.
