However, despite winning 1-0 against Sandiacre Town, courtesy of a first half Tom Spencer penalty, they were leapfrogged by Southwell City who now have a better goal difference after beating Eastwood CFC Development 7-0. Woodthorpe Park Rangers consolidated third place with a 4-0 in over Awsworth Villa thanks to doubles from Connor Carter and Markell Bailey while AFC Dunkirk slipped up at home to Wollaton, going down 1-0 with Steve Ahern getting the only goal of the game. A hat-trick from Josh Gardner helped Burton Joyce on their way to a 5-3 win against Cotgrave. Reece Campbell and Macauley Tinsley were also on target; Lucus Cotterill with a hat-trick of his own in reply. The dubious goals panel might be called into action as Ryan Tinsley is claiming he scored both goals in Keyworth United’s 2-1 win over Aslockton & Orston where the first is currently officially listed as an own goal. James Hallam netted for The Cranmers. Stapleford Town won 3-1 at Calverton Miners Welfare in their first game since parting with Adam Campbell as manager. The Saxons’ goals were shared between Joel Howes, Junior Rodriguez and Jack Upton. Attenborough’s new management team maintained their 100% start by coming out of a topsy-turvy game against Magdala Amateurs as 3-2 winners with goals from Jamie Hannis, Sam Poole and Chris Beighton. Tom Lawson and Ryan MacMillan were The Budgies’ scorers. FC Cavaliers doubled their win tally for the season by seeing off Bilborough Town 3-0 thanks to Zibusiso Sibanda (2) and Blessing Adeleye, going above their opponents in the table in the process. AFC Top Valley continued their imperious form in Division One as Joe Gunn and Nathan Atkins gave them a 2-0 win at Kirton Brickworks. Ruddington Village are up to second after they won 3-1 at Wollaton Reserves while West Bridgford AFC suffered a 1-0 home reverse at the hands of Southwell City Reserves. Gedling Southbank are up to fifth following a 3-0 win over Radford Reserves and Bridgford United made it back-to-back wins as a Tony Wilson brace helped them to a 3-2 victory at Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves. Macauley Spencer (2) and Joshua Henry put Hucknall Town Development three to the good at Robin Hood Colts but the home side fought back through Nathan Taylor, Mark Barnaby and Jordan Smith to claim a share of the spoils in a game that finished nine-a-side. In Division Two, with leaders United Grays drawing 2-2 at Clifton All Whites Development, Ruddington Village Reserves closed the gap to three points with four games in hand with a 3-2 win over Barrowby. Stapleford Town Reserves stayed in touch with a the top two with a 5-1 win over Bingham Town Reserves that included a brace for James Aspinall while Tom Siswick also bagged two for Keyworth United Reserves as they overcame Asha 5-2. Macauley Read scored a hat-trick on debut to give Cotgrave Reserves a 3-0 win at home to Burton Joyce Reserves while Ravenshead Reds won 2-1 at Bilborough Town Community.
