The Nottinghamshire FA Cups get underway in earnest this weekend with most of the Nottinghamshire Senior League teams participating. Possibly the pick of the ties in the Senior Cup involves Premier Division leaders Newark Flowserve, who welcome higher league opposition, in the form of Dunkirk, to Hawton Lane. Also hoping to spring a shock are Ruddington Village, who travel to the Norman Archer Memorial Ground to take on last season’s NSL champions Clifton All Whites, and Cotgrave, who entertain Radford at Woodview.
There are a number of all-NSL ties in the Intermediate Cup as Premier Division sides Magdala Amateurs host Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC at Roko and Calverton Miners Welfare and AFC Dunkirk go head-to-head at Hollinwood Lane. Ryan Easom, Danny Pass and Frank Fitzmaurice come back into the Calvo squad that lost to Basford United Community in the league last weekend. Basford themselves have NSL opponents as they visit the Inspire Stadium to play Real Community of Division One. Bingham Town welcome Ruddington Village Reserves to Butt Field and Southwell City Reserves entertain Attenborough at the War Memorial Ground. In the Junior Cup, Division Two leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers welcome their divisional rivals Burton Joyce to Eagle Valley. Ravenshead await the winners in round two. In the solitary Premier Division match Sandiacre Town host Underwood Villa at St Giles Park. Division One leaders, Netherfield Albion, will attempt to preserve their unbeaten record as they meet Ravenshead at Central College and Selston Reserves are the visitors to Basil Russell Park to play Bilborough United. In Division Two, Southwell City Development will be looking to break into the top three as they travel to Birchover Park to play Nottingham City whereas Underwood Villa Reserves are chasing their first win as they head to Platt Lane for a game against Keyworth United Development.
