Action in the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League, supported by Euro Soccer Company, gets underway on Friday evening with two games. In the Premier Division, bottom club Gedling Southbank entertain Bilborough Town, in 16th, at Eagle Valley while, in Division Two, Ravenshead Reserves welcome Ruddington Village Reserves to Cornwater. Josh Worrall is included in the squad for The Reds but Chris Bovey definitely misses out and both Brentnall brothers, Joshua and Levi, are competing for the same spot.
On Saturday in the Premier Division, leaders Stapleford Town follow up their narrow victory over Beeston in the NSL Senior Cup semi final in midweek by hosting AFC Dunkirk at Hickings Lane. Bingham Town will attempt to consolidate second place as they welcome Keyworth United at Butt Field while Awsworth Villa will try and move back level on points with Bingham if they can win on their travels at The Strand against Attenborough. Calverton Miners Welfare add Matt Corbett to their squad for the visit of Southwell City to Hollinwood Lane. Aslockton & Orston host Eastwood CFC Development at Spa Lane. Magdala Amateurs entertain Radcliffe Olympic at Roko while Sandiacre Town welcome Wollaton to St Giles. In Division One, fourth placed Southwell City Reserves head to Eagle Valley to take on leaders Woodthorpe Park Rangers. Second placed Ravenshead travel to the Stag Ground for their penultimate away game of the season against Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves and hope to include Mark Yates in the squad after the midfielder has missed two months of the season. Youth team player Jamie Vaughan remains in favour having impressed since moving up. There’s a switch of venue for Bridgford United, who host their home game against Radford Reserves at Carlton Town. Bridgford are boosted by the news that both Reiss Neil and Jourdan Blair should be fit for selection after a long layoff with injuries as they attempt to build on the midweek win over Kimberley. In Division Two, AFC Top Valley welcome Cotgrave Reserves to Hollinwood Lane while Newark Flowserve Reserves head to Lowfield to take on Barrowby. Comments are closed.
