There’s Friday night football action in all three divisions of the Nottinghamshire Senior League this week. In the Premier Division, AFC Dunkirk welcome Magdala Amateurs to the Ron Steel Sports Ground while, in Division One, Ravenshead host Awsworth Villa Reserves at Cornwater.
Following last Saturday's 6-2 victory, Ravenshead have two enforced changes to make with debutant Dan Fisher and full back Luke Williams both at work. Ryan Faulconbridge, Dave Harkin and Simon Murray come back into the squad.
In Division Two, Bridgford United entertain Newark Flowserve Reserves in their last game at Lenton Lane, with ground having been sold to a private rugby club.
On Saturday, runaway Premier Division leaders Newark Flowserve visit the WSA to take on Wollaton, who are hoping to end their poor run of home form, having lost three on the trot. The hosts are hoping to make a new signing in time for the game whereas Newark will definitely have a new man in their ranks, having snapped up Lee Potts from Cotgrave.
After last week’s 8-0 demolition of Bilborough Town, second-placed Awsworth Villa welcome Gedling Southbank to The Shilo. They name a very similar squad with just the additions of Jeremy Millenstead and Adam Jackson.
FC Cavaliers moved up to third, level on points with Awsworth, with a win over Bingham Town last week. They will look to continue that ascent as they head to St Giles to play Sandiacre Town.
Also moving up the table were Basford United Community but fourth is all they can hope for at present as they are four points behind third. They travel to Elms Park to face Ruddington Village.
Calverton Miners Welfare welcome Attenborough to Hollinwood Lane, Southwell City host Bingham Town at the War Memorial Ground and Underwood Villa entertain Bilborough Town at Bracken Park.
It’s top versus bottom in Division One as leaders Netherfield Albion head to Gresham Sports Park to play AFC Bridgford while, in Division Two, top team Woodthorpe Park Rangers travel to Roko to take on Magdala Amateurs Reserves.
