After suffering the suffering the agony of a defeat on penalties in the Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup last weekend, Calverton Miners Welfare will attempt to bounce back as tenants Gedling Southbank ‘visit’ their landlords at Hollinwood Lane. Bilborough Town host Sandiacre Town at the Harvey Hadden Stadium but will be without Ellis Williamson through injury. Five other players are also missing but new goalkeeper Chris Helthorp is available, as is their other new signing Matt Wheat. Second placed Awsworth Villa will be looking to further close the gap to leaders Newark Flowserve as they welcome AFC Dunkirk to The Shilo. Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC will hoping to lift themselves off the foot of the table as Cotgrave come calling at The Stag Ground while Ruddington Village, just one point and one place above Kimberley, will try and keep their noses ahead as they welcome Southwell City to Elms Park. Bingham Town were the team that inflicted that penalty defeat on Calverton, they entertain Magdala Amateurs at Butt Field. Attenborough will hope to eventually play their serially postponed Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup semi-final at Debdale Park against Sherwood Colliery Reserves while Basford United Community are in NSL Senior Cup action where they visit Real Community of Division One. In Division One itself, Ravenshead host the league leaders, Netherfield Albion, at Cornwater. The Ravens welcome back Mark Yates, Sean Creer-Thornton, Chris Bovey and Paul Smith to the squad but will be without Mark White and Luke Williams. Burton Joyce, of Division Two, will be trying to cause an upset in their NSL Junior Cup tie, as they welcome the second-placed team in Division One, Keyworth United Reserves, to The Poplars. Elsewhere in the Junior Cup, Division Two leaders Bridgford United host Keyworth United Development at Clifton Central College while second-placed Woodthorpe Park Rangers travel to Hollinwood Lane to take on Gedling Southbank Reserves.
