Action in the Precision Nottinghamshire Senior League Premier Division gets underway on Friday evening as Basford United Community entertain Bingham Town at Greenwich Avenue. Basford are looking for their first league win in 2017 but did book a place in the Notts FA Intermediate Cup semi-final with an extra-time victory over Nottingham Trent University last weekend.
On Saturday, leaders Bilborough Town hope to include new signing Grant Walton for the trip to St Giles to face Sandiacre Town. Bilborough will be without Tarik Nadif, however, who suffered a season ending injury last weekend, joining Tommy Street on the treatment table. Clifton All Whites welcome Ruddington Village to the Norman Archer Memorial Ground knowing that a draw or better will see them move into second in the table at the expense of Awsworth Villa, who are without a game. Wollaton visit Woodview to play Cotgrave. Wollaton struck seven goals last time out while Cotgrave netted eight. AFC Dunkirk, after progressing to the Notts FA Intermediate Cup final last weekend, return to league action with a trip to the Forest Recreation Ground to face FC Cavaliers. Attenborough, struggling at the wrong end of the table, host Real United at The Strand. Aston United have suffered a number of recent postponements, they will attempt to play their second match this year as they welcome Nottingham Trent University to the New Manor Ground. Newark Flowserve entertain bottom club Unity at Hawton Lane while Magdala Amateurs travel to Bracken Park to take on Underwood Villa. In Division One, leaders Calverton Miners Welfare add Jack Harris, Calum Moss and Adam Limb to the squad that beat Ashland Rovers for their visit to Elms Park to face Ruddington Village Reserves.
