On Monday 29 June four members of the Nottinghamshire FA Referee Development Group - Ibrahim Arsali, Kenwyn Hughes, Simon Kells and Alistair Nelson - along with two assessors Robin Bourne and Precision NSL Referees' Secretary Darrell Parkes, will be heading to the IberCup international football competition in Estoril, Portugal.
The competition will provide the refereeing team with new challenges as they look to communicate with non-English speaking players, different playing cultures, heat/humidity and a demanding schedule which will bring physical and mental challenges. Last year proved, and this year will be no different, that over the week officials will learn a lot of new skills both on and off the field of play which they will be able to bring back and share with others and hopefully enhance their own personal performances heading into the forthcoming season. The Nottinghamshire Senior League wishes the officials well and looks forward to them bringing the benefit of their experiences to NSL matches during the upcoming campaign. Comments are closed.
