Two Precision NSL teams are in Nottinghamshire FA Senior Cup action this week. On Tuesday night Ruddington Village entertain Sherwood Colliery, of the Central Midlands League, at the Norman Archer Memorial Ground on Tuesday evening, 5 January. Real United face a trip to The Stag Ground to face higher level opposition, in the form of Kimberley Miners Welfare from the East Midlands Counties League, on Wednesday evening, 6 January. Although the Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup is only at the quarter-final stage the Precision NSL are guaranteed at least one team in the final. The league has six teams amongst the last eight and with the two 'outsiders' meeting in the forthcoming round there must be an all-NSL semi-final. The quarter-final ties are all this week: Wednesday 6 January
